GRAMMATIKIS HOUSE
Grammatikis House offers 3 double rooms to rent on the Island of Samos in Greece. Located in the picturesque mountain village of Vourliotes, Grammatikis rooms for rent is the perfect location for sight seeing, hiking the Samos trails, sunbathing on the many near-by beaches, relaxing and having fun. Vourliotes is without a doubt one of the most visited mountain villages on Samos with its narrow cobbled streets, many too narrow for motorcars (we are located 5 minutes walk from the car park). If you have been before, you will be familiar with the village square lined with shops and tavernas full of friendly local characters. Vourliotes is where you can soak up the real feeling of greek life.
Grammatikis house is a large stone built house that has incredible views of the the Aegean sea, in particular the view of the sunset from the veranda is breathtaking.
If you love sunbathing, Platanakia and Tsabou beach are only 6 km away, the 'famous' Tsamadou beach is 10 km away.
If it is hiking or mountain biking that you prefer, there are many trails and un-paved roads leading to the villages of Manolates, Agios Konstantinos, Ambelos and Kokkari, as well as such places as the 'valley of the nightingales' and the soon to be renovated Vrontiani Monastery.
Hotel facilities and services
The living room is tastefully decorated and furnished with many of our families antiques and collectables. It features a large television and a beautiful fireplace that you won't necessarily use in the summer, but is a welcoming sight in the winter months, for as you will notice on the rates page, Grammatikis can be rented 12 months a year!
The kitchen has everything you would possibly need, including fridge/freezer, cooker, microwave, food processor, filter coffee machine, laundry washing machine, iron and ironing board.
Our goal is to make you feel at home and welcome, if there is anything we can provide you during our stay, we will try our best to accommodate.
Room facilities
Grammatikis rooms for rent is ideal for the traveler who wants a higher standard of accommodation but at an affordable price. Each of the three bedrooms are tastefully furnished with a wrought iron double bed, standard mirror, dressing table, built-in wardrobe and television. Each room has its own 'en-suite' bathroom and a balcony that has a panoramic view of the valley below and the Aegean sea beyond (the view above was taken from room 103!)
